These filters have a wire frame that holds a high efficiency synthetic filtration media (ePM10 >70%) designed to balance filtration quality whilst maintaining airflow in fan coil units, air conditioning units, spray booths and, indeed, anything that requires air to be filtered to a higher quality than our standard Fan Coil Filter.

Which way around do I fit the filter?
Whilst it may not be really obvious there is a front and a back to this filter. The front just shows the filtration media and the back shows the support bar/s and the stitching holding the filter media in place. The frame should be fitted so that the airflow hits the front of the filter and exits the back.
When should I use the high efficiency filter?
The WFSS filter is the most commonly used of our Fan Coil filters as they will stop the larger dirt and dust from entering the area or machine however if you are looking at filtering more dust particles then the High Efficiency Fan Coil Filter is the one that is most suited. They are both the same thickness and whilst the high efficiency will offer a slightly higher air resistance it is still very low compared to many other types of filter and the increased filtration level more than offsets this.
