Grease Baffles - Stainless Steel
Grease Baffles - Stainless Steel
SKU:3549
Our baffle grease filters are intended for use in ventilation systems within commercial kitchens and food preparation areas, where their primary function is to reduce the possibility that flames could travel from the cooking or preparation area into the extraction ducting.
Our baffle plates are manufactured from rolled stainless steel which are welded onto a sub frame which in turn is wrapped within the stainless steel outer frame.
These filters can be gently cleaned, to extend their life, by rising with hot water and a mild detergent or being soaked in a mild detergent solution and rinsed in clean water. The filters must be completely dry before being re-installed into the extraction hood or holding frame.
We can make these baffles to many bespoke sizes so if you don't see the actual size you require, don't despair, contact us and we will quote for the required size.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I clean these baffles?
Yes, you can wash our baffles regardless of their construction. For the best results the baffles should be sprayed with a mild detergent and left for a short while for the detergent to soften and break-down the captured grease or smoke staining. The baffles can then be rinsed with warm/hot water and gently brushed. The baffles should be allowed to completely dry before being installed. To aid with this many of our filters have drain holes within their frames.
