Blue & white synthetic filter together with our Profibre (green & white) that can be used for both air extraction and input within a spray booth or product preparation area. Whilst the Proprep is a standard thickness you can choose between 50mm (2") or 100mm (4") thickness for the Profibre.
Both Proprep & Profibre are synthetic fibre, supplied on a roll that measures 1 x 20 metres, for the filtration of air being extracted from your spray booth or preparation area or can be used to filter the air entering an area normally when other types of input material provides too much airflow resistance.
Proprep consists of two layers of fibre; an initial filtration (white layer) followed by second layer (coloured blue) that provides further increased filtration thus providing progressive filtration and maintaining airflow. The Profibre is coloured green & white with the green layer being the initial filter and the white secondary.

Is this media easy to cut?
Yes. Proprep is easy to cut with either scissors or a knife and the Profibre is very easy to cut however we always find using scissors to be the easiest way to although a sharp knife will also work very well.
If I don't need a whole roll, can I buy a smaller piece?
You certainly don't need to buy a whole roll. Whilst it is far more cost effective to buy Proprep as a standard roll we can cut special size pads for you however you will need to visit the actual Proprep product page where you can see various roll sizes. It is the same with the Profibre, if you visit the Profibe product page then you can see a number of different sizes that are available. This bundle is just for the 1 x 20 metre rolls.
Can I use this as a secondary filter?
Proprep is quite commonly used as a secondary filter normally behind a fibreglass media such as our Profibre. Whilst this is an effective form of filtration it is more costly and not, generally, as effective as using either our Procart K or one of our cardboard extraction filters such as the Procart H. We tend not to recommend using Profibre as a secondary filter as it struggles to actually hold on to paint as it is not an absorbent material.
