Bonded Carbon Panels
1310
These filter panels are manufactured for ease of installation and incorporation into ducted air systems. Their use is flexible so can be used on both air supply, to filter/purify incoming air, and used when air is being extracted to remove toxic gasses and odours generated within a process.
Ideal for absorbing odours and fumes and used in many types of environment including for spray booths, product preparation areas, kitchens, garages and many areas within medical facilities . Our panels are available in depths from 1 - 6 inches (12mm - 150mm) with our standard thickness of 1 or 2 inch. We have a range of sizes shown on this page, but we can produce these panels to match your exact requirements.

Carbon filter panel designed for the finest of air filtration. Our Bonded Activated Carbon Panels are designed to remove vapour/smell and the finest of particles from your air extraction. For use in a wide variety of air purification, vapour phase applications and for odour reduction, for example in catering establishments and commercial food preparation.
These panels are housed in an galvanised frame for both ease of use and the added security that your panel is well protected. BONDED CARBON air filters can be used for purifying inlet air or extracted air to remove toxic gasses and odour and are designed for simple installation into ducted air systems.
The difference between these BONDED CARBON filters and our standard carbon pleated panels is that these panels are manufactured with bonding techniques which sandwich the activated carbon granules encapsulated in a carbon impregnated cloth to prevent any leakage of granules or powder. The unique bonding method ensures that the high quality panels remain intact and rigid, even if wet. For filters over 45mm depth, the void is filled with loose activated granules which allows us to use optional special grades and combinations of formulated carbon.

What is the difference between these panels and the standard Carbon Pleated Panels?
Although both the Bonded Carbon Panels and the Pleated Carbon Panels both contain carbon, the similarity ends there. The pleated panels are more comparable with the standard G4 pleated panels as they are both of the same basic design which is a pleated filter media housed in a cardboard frame. The carbon pleated panels have a thin layer of activated carbon on both sides of the filter media which will trap fumes however these are designed to be used in areas with very light contamination. The bonded panels are a completely different design and contain a much higher quantity of activated carbon so can be used in areas with high levels of contamination or areas with a high airflow or high usage.
Should I use bonded or pleated carbon panels if I need to stop smells from my spraybooth?
Both panels will help to reduce smells and vapour emissions however the bonded panels will stop far more than the pleated as they contain far more carbon particles.
