High Efficiency Pleated Panel G4
3544
Our High Efficiency Pleated Panel filters are a long life, high capacity panel that gives a higher level of filtration than our standard Pleated Panel G4 combined with industry leading dust holding capacity. These panels are generally used for pre-filtration in HEVAC applications (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), spray booths, product preparation areas etc.
These filters are made using a blended cotton and polyester media which gives a very impressive service life which, when matched with the high surface area, offers extended intervals between service visits and panel changes.

What makes this a high efficiency filter?
We class this as a high efficiency panel filter as it has a higher dust holding capacity, higher final pressure drop and higher filtration levels than our Standard Pleated Panel G4.
Why does this hold more dust than a standard panel?
There are two reasons for why this high efficiency panel hold more dust than the standard panel; firstly the panels are made with different filter media. The green media used in the high efficiency has a higher filtration rate than the white even through they are classed as the same. Secondly, the high efficiency has a larger filtration surface area as they have more pleats per metre. More pleats equals more filtration media which means a higher dust holding capacity.
Should I use these or the standard pleated panels?
This really comes down to you. If you aren't using your spray booth, production area or preparation area all of the time then the standard panels may be suitable as they cost slightly less and have a good dust holding capacity. If your area suffers from low air flow then the standard, again, may be more suited as they have a lower initial pressure drop. However, if you want the higher filtration level and higher dust holding capacity then the high efficiency would be the better option. Also, as the high efficiency should be lasting longer than the standard, you will require less changes which means less downtime and fewer purchases.
